Acceptable Use Policy

Working draft — the formal policy lands at Phase 1 GA after legal counsel review.

UNIFY VPN exists so people can use the internet without surveillance. We don't inspect, log, or share what passes through the tunnel. The principles below describe what we do, and a short list of things we do not tolerate.

What we don't do

  • We don't log connection metadata. Session tables are RAM-only.
  • We don't inspect, modify, or block any traffic in the tunnel.
  • We don't share account data with any third party.
  • We don't respond to extra-judicial requests.

What we expect

  • No CSAM. No exceptions. We will cooperate with lawful authorities.
  • No spam, no abuse, no port-scanning third parties.
  • No attempts to identify or attack other UNIFY users.
  • No DMCA-violation campaigns from our egress IPs.

Abuse

Report abuse originating from a UNIFY egress to abuse@unify-vpn.app. We respond within 24 h. Repeat offenders are null-routed at the egress — without inspecting their traffic.
